Dear Class!
I don't remember when I wrote the last time. I've been a student since the Fall of ´98 at the German branch of Columbia International University. The Lord opened a door for me here and I am currently finishing up my courses for the Bible Certificate Program. I would like to continue on to a Masters Program, but don't know yet for sure what concentration I should chose. Very likely I'll be in the States for one semester next year some time. The future is very open and I still have so many unanswered questions, but I trust that the Lord will lead me. I also met Michael a couple months ago and we've been dating for a while. He has his M.A. in Bible and Intercultural Studies and was on one of the OM ships for 2 years. He is presently a youth worker at the YMCA close to Stuttgart.

I also work part time as a nurse. I work once a week and one weekend every month. It's very busy, but I'm thankful for the extra money. We have a lot of other activities running at the school, so I don't have too much time to drive around and visit friends.

My family is doing well. My Dad just retired this last summer and they moved to his hometown. They need to be settling in after they get back from traveling to Taiwan and China these past few weeks. Our mission sent my Dad to Taiwan as a representative, because our mission is celebrating their 100th birthday. They visited Uwe and MaDonna in China after their trip to Taiwan. Uwe just got married this summer in Jamesport, Missouri. Hope you are all well. Remember that you can come and visit anytime that you or your friends are traveling through Europe or Germany. God bless you and take care.

Love in Him,
Dorothea
